A Boys & Girls Club Provides

«      A safe place to learn and grow...

«      Ongoing relationships with caring, adult professionals...

«      Life-enhancing programs and character development experiences...

«      Hope and opportunity.

In every community, boys and girls are left to find their own recreation and companionship. Young people need to know that someone cares about them.

Boys & Girls Clubs offer that and more. Club programs and services promote and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence.

Boys & Girls Clubs are a safe place to learn and grow – all while having fun. They are truly The Positive Place For Kids.

The Scope of the Movement

«      Some 4.5 million boys and girls served

«      More than 4,300 Club locations

«      Locations in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands and on U.S. military bases around the world

«      More than 50,000 trained professional staff

Four key characteristics define the essence of a Boys & Girls Club. All are critical in exerting positive impact on the life of a child:

1. Dedicated Youth Facility
The Boys & Girls Club is a place – an actual neighborhood-based building – designed solely for youth programs and activities.

2. Open Daily
Many Clubs are open every day, after school and on weekends, when kids have free time and need positive, productive outlets.

3. Professional Staff
Every Club has full-time, trained youth development professionals, providing positive role models and mentors. Volunteers provide key supplementary support.

4. Available/Affordable to All Youth
Clubs reach out to kids who cannot afford, or may lack access to, other community programs. Annual membership dues are low, averaging $10 to $20 per year.

Local Youth Athletic Organizations

Every year budgets are cut and sports programs need more scholarship money for youth unable to pay for participation.  If you are the coach of a non-profit athletic team and want your players to experience a true “team-building” experience to help themselves as well as be better role models to other youth … join us at this exciting event.  For every person registering to run in the March Mudness Mud Run stating that  your team is the sponsor or home organization, we will donate a portion of the proceeds of their registration to your athletic program.

Our ALL SPORT Competitions is open to the first 64 Mud Run teams that sign up the morning of the mud run.  We will have some fun prizes and items for the winners of the following competitions:

* Shootout Competition (Soccer)

*    Pitch Tracking Competition (Baseball)

*    Super Bowl Quarterback Competition (Football)

*    Spiking Competition (Volleyball)

*    Hoop Dreams Competition (Basketball)
